Just baffled…

Posted by RealDaffyDuck on January 26, 2011

Recently, the sockpuppets over on have gone into veritable overdrive, and some of their allegations and statements have, quite frankly, left me baffled.

Addendum: “goat” mistery solved!

The most recent are a couple of odd statements (aside from the usual obtuse “goat” references):

The Observer (sockpuppet 33) says:

Couple of days ago the fat zinger copied to his site a comment Steve Green posted on the Mango blog and the next day DumbFuck got the order to remove it.

(easily) Dollar for dollar says:

and the fact that recently they made Daffy remove a comment he copied from The Mango blog to his site speak volumes

Absolutely no messages were copied from the Big Mango blog, and I certainly have absolutely no clue who “Steve Green” is, and nothing was removed or deleted…!

Furthermore, to “up” the entertainment value, same guy now claims that Big Mango owners and management are “apologizing” for the way they have treated the “valuable customers” on the blog.

Seriously? I mean, he might as well stick with the incomprehensible “goat” references.

The only response I can muster is “Arai Wah?”

Apparently, the constant “goat” references are an Kiwi thing (ie New Zealand peeps), since there seem to be frequent references to these magical and kind creatures in their cultural mythos:

Here’s a film that I came across:

It’s 1984, and Michael Jackson is king-even in Waihau Bay, New Zealand. Here we meet Boy, an 11-year-old who lives on a farm with his gran, a goat, and his younger brother, Rocky (who thinks he has magic powers). Shortly after Gran leaves for a week, Boy’s father, Alamein, appears out of the blue. Having imagined a heroic version of his father during his absence, Boy comes face to face with the real version-an incompetent hoodlum who has returned to find a bag of money he buried years before. This is where the goat enters.

I wonder, are there goats over in Khao Yai National Park, then?

    I love to fuck goats.
Nobody else does – and they all point the finger.
    Thats why I hate myself.
Trailer Park trash who couldn’t evolve.
    But i tried so hard.
Guess cos i’m the result of an in-bred joke that I have no chance. – so it’s not my fault and please don’t laugh.

Childish. And a complete waste of time if anyone believes that would bother me they are mistaken.

I’m Trailer Trash and proud of it.

Kenny on the other hand is quite distressed about being Asian. That is obvious.

You have to wonder why BBK is once again going after the Big Mango.

Is it possible he received notice from CSUN that his services will no longer be needed after the current school year? So he’s blaming them for his problems instead of manning up to being a bad teacher (and shit photographer as well).

Is there a worse professor at CSUN? I checked and can’t find one.

    • The RateMyProfessors site is actually quite funny (and possibly worthy of an article all by itself).

When I first stumbled across RMP, and read the Kenneth Ng feedback, I thought for sure that the Mango Boys were “stuffing the ballot” (so to speak) and blast-posting negative reviews.

That is, until I started reading further bac.

…back beyond the Murati shrine post.

…back beyond the creation of the Big Mango

      … waaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy back to 2003!

and the rating feedback on Kenny as a professor has been consistently BAD!

Also, interesting, as far back as 2003, students commented that Kenny would go off topic, would know little to nothing about the subject matter, and that he would often pepper his lectures with references to hookers, and inappropriate comments.

Those Mango Boys must have a time machine!

    • RMP seems to have undergone a catastrophic *upgrade* (ie upgrade at the hands of corporate IT), as the site is redesigned and it no longer finds *any* schools or *any* professors.

There is a nifty iPhone app for it, though — but, oddly enough, it doesn’t have a listing for Professor Ng as well, anymore. Someone’s been doing some rushed damage control, methinks.

But they have blocked new reviews of Kenny Ng, CSUN

    • Thanks for the link – the old reviews are plenty good 🙂

2003: “Talks about Koreans and their gambling habits, Vietnamese and their donut shops, and dont forget he talks about the Cambidians and their liquor stores and how they do online blackjack while watching directv. ALL OF THIS IS TRUE ABOUT NG.”

2003: “If you are receiving your PHD in economics, then you might have a chance of getting a C in this class. His evil laugh reminds you of the wicked witch, except in this case you replace the W with a B. And just remember, NO CHANCE, thats what you’ve got!”

2003: “Professor asks oddball exam questions that makes it difficult, if not impossible, to apply concepts learned in class. WORST teacher I’ve ever taken. Class average were approximately 38%. I got a 47% on Exam 2, which was an A. Very subjective grading.”

2004: “STAY AWAY. nothing he says makes sense! talks more about vegas and bikes then econ. lectures suck- all on powerpoint with him reading it line by line. you should skip econ for a semester if he’s your last choice.”

2004: “the worst prof i’ve ever had at csun. his lectures are completely unclear and he was so demeaning one day in class, i walked out and never went back.”

2005: “Worthless teacher. Be prepared to teach yourself the material. Lectures get way off the subject, and end up falling far behind.”

“talks more about vegas and bikes then econ. lectures suck

Another Ng lie. I know lots of people at CSUN. They have never seen numbnuts ride a bike to work. Lots of lies told around those bars while in Bangkok…what you do, what you own, how much you make and yes, what you ride.

Cmon folks, how many 300 pound 53 year olds do you know riding sport-bikes at the track?

What happened to the “truck” he bought and keeps in Thailand. When was the last mention of that “motorbike” that Killer Kenny bought.

Too many lies and too many fake posters.

Hmmmmmm. I guess I missed 1) the comment and 2) the order to remove it. How could that have happened?

Because there was no comment in the first place.

Desperation or a need for new medication? Having visited The Mango on my recent visit I can definitely say they are doing fine. Early in the evening on a weekday there was about 20 people in the place drinking, eating and playing pool.

And I have to say, Daywalker, next time you are in Southern California drop a line and we’ll take you to In-N-Out Burgers. You can steal their burger recipe for your establishment and easily lay claim to the best burger in Bangkok.

Oh yeah, that, and you’re all goats!

What is all this about the Big Mango and BBK? Some sort of schoolyard brawl? I’m in Bangkok in a couple weeks and think I need to stop in and have a look around.

Goats a Kiwi thing? 1 obscure reference & you pigeon hole an entire nation. Most people know they have a special affinity for sheep. Long time. New Zealand – where men are men and sheep are nervous.

    • BigDummyKenny said

I also thought New Zealand was known as having a big sheep industry. Didn’t they have more sheep than people there at one time?

Isn’t sheep’s wool softer than goat’s wool? Probably a question for Ronru von Riff Raff.

    • Wombat said

They do have more sheep than people. But that is hardly suprising. Kiwis are the most patriotic people on earth. They will do anything for their country. Except live there.

    • “1 obscure reference & you pigeon hole an entire nation.”

Everything I know about journalism, I learned from Kenny… can’t you tell? 🙂

Goats / Sheep, what’s the difference?

So, that won’t float, then? Damn, back to square one about the goat references!

      Maybe it’s an Aussie thing?

…or, maybe, just maybe, it’s just a peculiar, particular “dumb, drunk, loser thing”
